Ask Rooted is an AI-powered hair consultation. The messages you send it — including any photos you choose to share and any contact details you provide during the conversation — are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses, and conversation records are stored securely so we can prepare for your visit and improve the guidance it gives.

Our AI provider does not use your conversations to train its models. Please don’t share sensitive information (like health or financial details) in a consultation — it only needs to know about your hair.

We use your information to respond to booking requests and confirm appointments, personalize service and product recommendations, communicate with you about your appointments, and understand which services our clients care about so we can improve. We contact you by phone or text only in connection with your appointments and inquiries.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing. Your information is handled by the trusted providers that run our website and services — our hosting platform, our database provider, and our AI provider — each bound by their own strict data protection obligations.

This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies — which is why you won’t see a cookie banner here. Any storage the site uses is strictly functional (for example, keeping your Ask Rooted conversation going while you’re on the page).

Our shop page recommends products through Amazon affiliate links, and we link out to Instagram, Facebook, and Google Maps. As an Amazon Associate, Rooted earns from qualifying purchases. Once you leave our site, those companies’ own privacy policies apply — we encourage you to review them.
